Let me speak about the beautiful gospel of truth that allows us to receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. After the death of Moses, God appointed Joshua as the leader of the people of Israel. Moses is the representative of the Law in the Old Testament. If Moses had led the people of Israel across the Jordan River and reached the land of Canaan, there would have been no need for Joshua to become the leader of the people. However, God only allowed Moses to reach up to the land of Canaan, but did not allow him to enter.
